Umfors Hunting provides accommodation, hunting invitations, and assistance with all necessary paperwork for your trip. You are responsible for arranging your own travel to and from Umfors, but we’re happy to offer travel tips, route suggestions, and contact details for local facilities, shops, and support services.

If you’re travelling with dogs, we recommend bringing a dedicated dog transport trailer where your dogs can rest and stay overnight. This is especially important as some of our cabins must remain pet-free due to allergy concerns.

Our four cabins have a total capacity of up to 20 guests. The accommodations are modern yet cozy with breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and valleys. After a long day on the terrain, you can relax in comfort and warmth.

Each cabin is equipped with everything you need for a self-sufficient stay – including full kitchens, showers, comfy beds and saunas.

Whether you’re a solo hunter or a group, the cabins offer both privacy and a connection to nature. 

We organized and conducted guided moose hunting tours for small groups, providing them with a thrilling and authentic Northern Sweden hunting experience. Our experienced guides ensured that each participant was equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, enhancing their chance of a successful hunt. Additionally, we facilitated accommodation in our cozy hunting lodges, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking wilderness.

We successfully streamlined the hunting license application process, assisting clients in obtaining the necessary permits to hunt legally and efficiently. Our dedicated team managed all administrative procedures on behalf of our clients, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations. This service greatly reduced the time and stress for hunters, allowing them focus more on preparing for their adventures.

Our team developed and hosted winter survival skills workshops tailored for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts. Participants learned essential skills such as building emergency shelters, identifying edible wild foods, and basic first aid under cold conditions. These workshops not only enhanced safety for our clients during their hunting trips but also enriched their overall outdoor experience in the challenging yet beautiful landscapes of Västerbotten County.
